  • Where can I find information about the training and examination dates?
    The dates can be found on the local information page of the UMC concerned. In the section with the contact details of the local BROK coordinators you will find a link to this information.

  • Where can I find an overview of ALL examination dates and examination sites?
    The examination is organised by EMWO. You can find the agenda of alle examinations here.
  • How do I register for the centre-specific session or the examination?
    You can register for the centre-specific session and the examination in the study environment.

  • Which components are compulsory before I can do the examination?
    Before the examination you will need to do the self-assessment and attend the centre-specific session. In order to receive the certificate you will be asked to complete the evaluation form (available in the study environment) after concluding the training course.

  • When will I have passed the examination?
    To pass the examination, you will need to achieve a score of at least 80%.

  • I have failed the examination. What happens now?
    In the study environment you can register for a resit. The price of a resit is 85 euro.

  • How can I lodge a complaint about the examination?

  • I would like to give feedback about the training material. Where can I give my feedback?
    You can enter your feedback on the evaluation form in the study environment. Do you have any further comments? Then please contact your local BROK coordinator.

  • How long will the BROK certificate be valid for?
    The certificate will be valid for 4 years. You will need to obtain re-certification in a timely manner.

  • My BROK registration is expired, what should I do?
    - Your BROK certificate is valid exactly 4 years. The date is indicated on the BROK certificate. You will also find it in the BROK-register
  • I am a senior researcher practitioner and I have followed a BROK course or similar course many years ago, however without a formal examination.
    You can follow the BROK course at reduced costs, namely 250 euro.
  • How can I register for re-certification?
    Re-certification is arranged differently at different UMCs. Go to the website of your own UMC for more information (for the link, see the contact page for your own centre).

  • How long will the re-certification be valid for?
    The re-certification will be valid for 4 years.
